An extinguishing agent with minimal climate impact

Sinorix 5112 uses the FK-5-1-12 extinguishing fluid — a liquid at room temperature that vaporizes on release and extinguishes through a cooling effect. It combines a high level of safety for people and sensitive equipment with an exceptionally low climate footprint.
| Chemical name | FK-5-1-12 (dodecafluoro-2-methylpentan-3-one, C₆F₁₂O) |
| Physical state | Stored as a liquid at room temperature; vaporizes on release |
| GWP (global warming potential) | ≈ 1 — one of the lowest among extinguishing agents |
| ODP (ozone depletion potential) | 0 |
| Atmospheric lifetime | ~5 days |
| Indicative design concentration | ~3.5% (Class A) / ~4.5% (Class B) — to be determined per project per the applicable standard |
| Storage (cylinders) | From ~7 kg to ~545 kg of agent per single cylinder — combinable according to the size of the site |
| Extinguishing mechanism | Cooling effect (heat absorption), interrupts the combustion reaction before sprinklers activate |
